Ace Hardwood Flooring, Inc.

Like most trees that sustain the hardwood flooring industry, the seed for Ace Hardwood Flooring was planted in Austin, TX after Mark Szeneri relocated from California in 1977.

In 1985, a nurturing mix of craftsmanship, integrity, value and faith saw two new branches sprout from Ace Hardwood’s continual growth: our milling warehouse and, most prominently, The Mesquite Collection.

The very same business ethics and values which have rooted the foundation of our company have also attracted skilled craftsmen whom have both found comfort and have remained happily under our shaded canopy for upwards of 30 years; our oldest employee boasting 38 years!  To date, these craftsmen in carpentry, flooring and stair installation and floor finishing continue to nourish our growth by providing and installing millions of square feet of flooring around the world.

Year after year, our position deepens within our community.  We have not only expanded into a premier, locally-owned, hardwood flooring company but we are one of the largest manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers of domestic and mesquite hardwood flooring and stair parts; resulting in Ace Hardwood Flooring becoming a major contributor & custom mill supplier of mesquite hardwood.

Ace Hardwood Flooring proudly manufactures, distributes and wholesales hardwood and hardwood accessories necessary for the installation and sand & finish of flooring and stairs.  This includes, but is not limited to, steps, stair treads, stair nosing, shoe moulding, trim, landings & transitions, custom design flooring and specialty products like hardwood countertops.

Currently, we inventory a large variety of wood flooring, from native American to exotic species, and stock a large supply of flooring accessories such as sand & finish supplies, raw lumber, and flooring tools.

Mark Szeneri began his career in the lumber, building and hardwood flooring industry as an adolescent working alongside his brothers and father, Joseph Szeneri.  Joe Szeneri began his career in the lumber industry in 1939 while living in Ohio before relocating to southern California in 1968 to transition into becoming a residential builder.  Under the guidance of his father, Mark and his brothers not only learned the trade but developed a passion for the many aspects of the lumber industry; which has remained in all of them to this very day.

When not helping others bring their dream home to fruition, Mark enjoys celebrating life to the fullest with his wife and children, participating in church activities and spending down time on the lake.
